Tough School

Welcome to Tough School

Our school is set amongst fields and farms, a quarter of a mile from Kirkton of Tough and 4 miles from Alford. We have two large, airy and light classrooms and a general purpose room, which is also the dining hall and gym and contains our lovely library.

Tough School provides education for children from P1-P7. At present, we have two classes, a Primary 1-3, and a Primary 4-7.

On leaving Tough Primary School the pupils transfer to Alford Academy, Alford. Tough School is part of the Alford Community Schools’ Network and works closely with the other 12 schools in the Network.
